Welcome to Big Trees Village Property Owners' Association Big Trees Village is a community located five thousand feet above sea level in the Sierra Mountains just East of Calaveras Big Trees State Park in Calaveras County, California. This is the website of the Big Trees Village Property Owners Assocation (BTV POA). Here you will find our Recreation Center Activities Schedule, information about our building standards, Board of Director's Meetings, and useful local phone numbers and web sites. There is also information about the future of Big Trees Village.
The Big Trees Village Voice is our new newsletter, and it is mailed to all property owners in Big Trees Village. We have published three editions to date. You may download the past two editions in pdf format:

The Fall 2007 Issue that was mailed to all property owners' homes contains the proposed budget for 2008. There is a typographical error in the "Total Income" line. Instead of $25,570, it should read $139,070, which is the correct total of the items in that income column.
The first edition of the Village Voice, the Summer 2006 Issue, may be viewed here. It contains detailed information about the history of Big Trees Village and its future.
Copies of the Village Voice may also be obtained by contacting Manager Ward Redman at the Association Office (209) 795-1971. He is also available to answer other inquiries about Assocation membership, building standards, and other questions about Big Trees Village.
An informational survey was mailed to all the property owners in Unit 1 on November 14, 2007. Since the CC&Rs (coverants, conditions, and restrictions) expire first in that Unit, the Board of Directors is interested in learning their views on the future of Big Trees Village. A pdf copy of Unit 1 CC&Rs may be downloaded for review. A hard copy of Unit 1's CC&Rs may be obtained from the Association Office by calling (209) 795-1971. | ||
